How Thinwork processes personal data related to the dbSlice website, licensing and support.

Last updated: September 5, 2026

1. Controller

THINWORK TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO - LTDA, CNPJ 09.166.605/0001-21, is responsible for personal data used to operate the dbSlice website, licensing and product support. Contact: contact@dbslice.net.

2. Data we may process

We may process identification and contact data, company and role information, support correspondence and ticket identifiers, license and activation records, device identifiers required for license enforcement, update checks, and minimal technical and anti-abuse records needed for security and service operation.

3. Database contents

dbSlice is a locally executed Windows application. Thinwork does not require customers to upload database contents to the public website or licensing service. Data handled by synchronization, comparison or export remains under the customer's control in the environments they configure.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We use personal data to respond to inquiries, deliver and activate licenses, provide updates and support, prevent fraud, secure services, comply with legal obligations and improve the product. Processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations or consent, as applicable.

5. Payments

Paddle may process checkout, payment, tax, invoice and refund data as authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Its own privacy notice applies to that processing. Thinwork does not receive complete payment-card details.

6. Support and service providers

Support form data is delivered to Thinwork's GLPI service desk. Cloudflare Turnstile may process security signals to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. We otherwise share personal data only with providers needed for hosting, licensing, communications, payment and support, under appropriate safeguards, or when required by law. We do not sell personal data.

7. Retention and security

Support tickets and related contact data are retained only while needed to provide assistance, document the service relationship, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Anti-abuse rate records use a keyed, one-way pseudonym of the network address and expire automatically. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, connection strings, database records or other production secrets.

8. International transfers

Service providers may process information outside Brazil. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request confirmation, access, correction, deletion, portability, objection or information about sharing. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Contact contact@dbslice.net.

10. Cookies and security technologies

The landing page does not store the language selection in a cookie. An essential, short-lived session cookie is used only when the support form is opened or submitted to prevent request forgery. Paddle and Cloudflare Turnstile may use technologies necessary for checkout and security. No advertising tracker is required by this implementation.
